About

I'm Alex Foden, a photographer currently based in Liverpool, United Kingdom. I primarily specialise in cityscape photography and use both traditional film and digital techniques in which to best capture my subjects. Often I'll find myself wandering the streets of Liverpool in the early hours of the morning searching for subjects, the process from start to finish is rewarding and I like to think I'm able to share that experience somewhat through my images.

Originally starting photography in early 2014 I was fortunate enough to have my work shortlisted in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards with my image, 'Mersey Festival', subsequently being presented at the Somerset Art Gallery in London. This gave me the confirmation that I needed to push myself further than ever before and pursue photography in a serious fashion. After much work I am now able to showcase my work both online and in a beautiful gallery located in the Albert Dock, Liverpool.

I am constantly updating my portfolio of images and look forward to sharing my view of Liverpool with you through my work.
